Contract Manufacturing
Mt. Olive Mfg. is ready to assist you in all phases of your project. From design and construction of the heat sealing tooling, to full-scale manufacturing of the final project, let us be your final stop.
We can prototype your design and provide working product samples for further research and development. Or, if you're ready to go to production, let us prove how our quality-focused manufacturing process can save you time and money.
Mt. Olive Mfg. operates some of the largest RF sealing and die-cutting presses in the United States. Our "large part" capabilities, and flexibility to work with a wide variety of flexible films, including phthalate-free polymers, sets us apart from other contract sealers.
RF Welding/Dielectric Sealing Expertise
Radio Frequency (RF) Welding/Dielectric Sealing is the primary service we perform at Mt. Olive Mfg. It is the cornerstone process of many products we manufacture. We have built a world renowned reputation on our ability to maintain consistently high quality in run after run of RF sealed products. The RF Sealing process works by using high frequency radio waves to heat plastics from the inside, much like a microwave oven heats food.
Engineering & Tooling Design
With over 25 years' experience in working with customers to develop and bring new products to market, we can help you understand the realities, and some misconceptions related to plastics sealing. We can work with your product engineers to analyze material options, weld design, and product life-cycle to help you get it right the first time.
Mt. Olive Mfg. utilizes in-house CAD design and a full service machine shop with a state-of-the-art CNC mill center to design and construct customer tooling. With our expertise in product construction, we can help you get the most of your tooling design in terms of quality results and efficient use of materials.
Prototyping & Testing
With Mt. Olive's in-house design and tooling construction capabilities, prototyping is quick, easy and affordable. We can work with you to build various product prototypes to be used in testing and sales. With some of the largest RF sealing and die-cutting presses in North America, Mt. Olive Mfg. has the capability to meet the needs of virtually any size project.
Converting & Sheeting
Mt. Olive Mfg. can work with you at any level to meet your needs. We can take your product from raw material to finish packaging, or simply process a single step of your overall production.
Sheeting is a process used to convert roll stock of plastic materials into individual sheets so they be easily die-cut and/or RF welded.
Packaging
Finished products and/or sub-components are assembled, inspected, and packaged to meet customer specifications.
Assembly
The trained workforce at Mt. Olive Mfg. is well-equipped to bring your finished product from the manufacturing table to the final package. Allow us to utilize our long-standing relationships with national bag and box suppliers to help you obtain the most competitive pricing for your packaging and assembly needs.
Other Services
Labeling
Mt. Olive Mfg. utilizes in-house labeling techniques to "seal-in" your product information. Product information and marketing designs can be permanently affixed into the design of your final product.
